When I got Mr. 2, it didn’t come with the remote and neither did I know that the MR2 has this factory option. Later upon reading the PO’s article, I realized it was paired with a key already. And it appears that you can only pair with two remotes.
So I decided to reset the ECU’s memory and pair with the new remote I bought from ebay. FCC BABEUC-1052
